Bugs that infest your plants-aphids/whitefly
Do you want poisons on your vegetables?
All too often the damage to plants and gardens that aphids, whitefly, caterpillars and other plant pest insects have on leaves, stems and roots spirals out of control before the introduction of plant pest control can begin to solve the problem. Non-organic gardening often requires you and your plants to come in direct contact with poisonous chemicals that are unsafe and can be bad for the environment. There is a better way to protect your plants and garden. From the wisdom of Nature, an organic plant pest control product has been developed using Eastern Red Cedar Oil and other natural ingredients. When our natural lawn and garden products are used, instead of chemicals that are dangerous and less effective, the prevention and extermination process is easier and safer.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Plant Spray kills aphids, mealy bugs, whitefly, fruit flies, scale, Japanese beetles, ants, nematodes, mites, caterpillars and other common pests and then continues to work as a repellent. It is also a natural fungicide and mildicide. In addition, our Plant Spray will not harm bee pollinators, beneficial insects, lady bugs, butterflies, frogs and toads.
How it Works
When insects and other arthropods are exposed to Cedar Bug-Free™ Plant Spray, the aroma of the cedar oil overwhelms their breathing system and triggers a suicide response—the spiracles (breathing pores) close and cannot re-open. The cedar oil and ethyl lactate formulation also dissolves the insect eggs and larvae, eliminating the next generation of arthropod, while the aroma of cedar disrupts their pheromone signals and creates a barrier of entry repellent to newly arriving pests. Cedar Bug-Free™ Plant Spray is not only more effective than other natural insecticides; it’s also more long-lasting.
How to Use It
In our experience, the best way to use Cedar Bug-Free™ Plant Spray is to begin weekly spray applications when pest levels are relatively low rather than waiting until a serious infestation occurs. This way a higher level of control can be maintained using a lower concentration of the product. Our product works best when applied with a hose-end applicator or high-volume water delivery system. It can also be applied with trigger, compression and pressure sprayers.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Plant Spray Concentrate, when mixed at the 2oz/gallon rate, is safe for use on most plant species, but not suitable for seedlings or very young plants and may leave marks on some fruits. For many species, and especially for mature plants, the 4oz/gallon rate is non-phytotoxic, more effective at eliminating a serious infestation, and has a longer time period of pest suppression after treatment. We recommend testing a few plants of each species at the 2 oz/gallon rate, and only then increasing the rate.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES; if contact occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of ingestion consult a physician.
